A Fresh Start & A New Face at HOME WORKS!
Happy Back to School Season, HOME WORKS! Community!
With each new school year comes a renewed opportunity to deepen connections and think creatively about how we can nurture student growth in new and meaningful ways that build upon the lessons learned from the year before. Here at HOME WORKS!, we’re embracing this season of change with some exciting news of our own – we are thrilled to welcome Robby Hamilton onboard as our new Director of Development.
Robby’s heart for equitable access to high-education ties back to his studies in sociology at Lindenwood University, where he saw firsthand how essential strong partnerships between families and educators are to supporting student achievement. With the majority of his professional career rooted in education, Robby brings both a wealth of diverse experience and a deep commitment to our mission.
Of our core values, courage, is what resonates most with Robby, because courage is what is takes to drive forward lasting, impactful change in education. He brings this courageous sprit to our team and is eager to connect with community stakeholders to explore new opportunities for investment and partnership that will advance our mission.
Outside of work, Robby is a Ferguson native, where he currently lives with his wife, Kelsey. Feel free to drop him a note at rhamilton@teacherhomevisit.org to say hello and continue the conversation.
We also invite you to meet Robby and connect with the entire HOME WORKS! team at our upcoming Back-to-School Kickoff Celebration on October 14th from 5:30-7:00pm at the Delmar DivINe. It will be an inspiring evening of community connection, complete with an exclusive first look at our refreshed brand.
Stay tuned for the release of our 2024-25 School Year Impact Report in late October, a powerful reflection of what we’ve accomplished together over the past year and a glimpse into what’s ahead.
Here’s to a strong start and an impactful year ahead!
All my best,
Ashli Florek
